None of us has a monopoly of understanding concerning best practices in business. Throughout my career—whether as a diplomat or as an entrepreneur or in my private life—I have tried to understand what special quality of leadership is required to deliver results in a specific situation
If the old adage in consulting is true that you're only as good as your last deal, then I should be OK. But nonetheless, I will try to keep myself updated about that big world out there and my place in it and pass on some observations on a regular basis.
